Belgian Grand Prix – The FIA has confirmed a minute’s silence will be observed ahead of both races at Spa-Francorchamps on Sunday.
In light of the tragic death of Formula 2’s Anthoine Hubert during the feature race at Spa-Francorchamps on Saturday, the FIA has cancelled the second race scheduled for the series on Sunday. The sprint race, scheduled for 11am on Sunday morning, will not go ahead.
Instead, Formula 3 will race in that time slot, with the FIA confirming a minute’s silence will be observed at the track ten minutes before the race.
The Formula 1 race, set for 15.10 local time, will go ahead as planned and will also observe a minute’s silence ten minutes prior to the race.
