Spanish Grand Prix – McLaren’s Lando Norris and Racing Point’s Lance Stroll have both been summoned before the race stewards after colliding during the race.
McLaren’s Lando Norris and Racing Point’s Lance Stroll retired from the Spanish Grand Prix after colliding with each other.
Racing each other through the first corners of the lap on Lap 44, Norris tried to stick his McLaren up the inside of the Racing Point before the apex of Turn 2.
Turning in, Stroll’s left rear struck the right front of the McLaren and he spun off into the gravel and backwards into the tyre barrier. Norris suffered suspension damage and had to pull off the track and retired.
With both drivers out, the stewards have now summoned both men before the race stewards for investigation.
