Pirelli have announced the team’s tyre choices for the Australian Grand Prix next week.

As part of the initiative to make the tyre rules easier to understand, just three colours & compounds will be in use at every Grand Prix this year. White Hard, Yellow Medium & Red Soft will be the only identifiers for the tyres, but these will be taken from the five varying compounds Pirelli supply, C1 to C5.

For Melbourne, Pirelli have chosen the C2, C3 & C4 compounds which will serve as the Hard, Medium & Soft respectively.
