Azerbaijan Grand Prix – Valtteri Bottas was fastest in final practice with a 1:42.742 as championship leader Sebastian Vettel hit reliability problems.
The German was pulled into the garage early in the session with bodywork damage, but then lost half of the session with a hydraulics issue.
This means Vettel goes into qualifying without a proper low fuel simulation completed for the day. He finished the session in 12th.th
His team mate Kimi Raikkonen was second fastest by just under a tenth of a second, with Lewis Hamilton in third, four tenths off his team mate.
Daniel Ricciardo was fourth ahead of Esteban Ocon, who was six tenths off the pace.
Friday pacesetter Max Verstappen was sixth, and finished the session pulled up at the side of the track at Turn 16 when his engine cut out following a clutch failure.
Felipe Massa was seventh ahead of team mate Lance Stroll in ninth, split by the Toro Rosso of Daniil Kvyat. Sergio Perez completed the top ten.
Fernando Alonso was 14th after an overnight change to the old specification Honda engine. He now has a total of a 40-place grid penalty. Team mate Stoffel Vandoorne has a 30-place grid penalty.
Jolyon Palmer missed out on the majority of the session as his Renault caught fire barely ten minutes in.
