Racing Point uncover their new look for 2019 and announce new title sponsor

The Racing Point team, formerly Force India, have revealed their new look to the world in an unveiling ceremony at the Canadian International Autoshow.

Taking to the stage in Toronto, drivers Sergio Perez & Lance Stroll took the covers off the new Racing Point car. This revealed it to be running a similar livery to last year’s ‘Pink Panther’ but with added blue on the engine cover to reflect new title sponsor SportPesa.

SportPesa are an online sports betting company who have come onboard with additional funding to the Racing Point consortium which now owns the team.

The new car is christened the RP19, meaning the team’s former ‘VJM’ moniker is left behind.

SportPesa branding appears on the engine cover as well as on the front & rear wings. BWT remain as a sponsor, with their logos on the sidepods, the chassis, headrest and the back of the rear wing. New partners JCB, Bombardier & Hackett were also all revealed.
