Sauber have confirmed the launch date for their 2017 challenger, the C36.
Images of the Ferrari-powered C36 will be revealed on Monday 20th February, which now puts them first in the queue to publicly unveil their 2017 car.
Until today, Renault were on course to display the first car under the new regulations, brought in for 2017 to make the cars wider and look more aggressive. The unveiling of the RS17 is on Tuesday 21st February.
The first pre-season test commences one week after the unveiling of the Sauber C36 on Monday 27th February.
Whilst the Swiss team have confirmed their line-up for the 2017 season, it is not yet known if Pascal Wehrlein will be fit enough to participate in the test following his crash in the Race of Champions event earlier this year. Marcus Ericsson is still due to take part in the test.
