Hungarian Grand Prix – Pirelli have revealed the tyre orders from the teams ahead of the race in Budapest, and it’s the SuperSofts that dominate the numbers.
There’s very little variation right across the board in terms of tyre selection differences for Budapest. The race is usually held in hot and sticky conditions, with relatively low degradation due to a lack of high speed corners.
SuperSofts lead the way, with the Mercedes and Ferrari drivers showing up with nine sets each, and Max Verstappen with ten for Red Bull.
The Softs are the next most common compound, with teams electing for just a single set of Mediums for the entire weekend.
