Singapore Grand Prix – Ultrasoft tyres were the main choice for all drivers for the low-degradation Marina Bay circuit.
With tyre wear not expected to be much of an issue for the Singapore race, the three fastest compounds were made available for selection.
Of the thirteen available sets, the majority of teams chose ten sets of the ultrasoft-compound tyres.
The Haas F1 team chose the fewest sets of ultrasoft tyres with eight, choosing instead to stock up slightly more on the supersoft tyres.
The vast majority of drivers have only one set of the standard soft tyre – the minimum allowed. However, championship rivals Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel have chosen an extra set of the hardest available tyre, along with Sauber’s Pascal Wehrlein.
