The Red Bull Racing team launched their RB15 with a striking, unique livery on Wednesday. As part of the launch day, they also used up their first of two permitted filming days for 2019, with Max Verstappen caning the Honda-powered car around the national circuit at Silverstone.
The Dutch driver may now have 100 kilometres of track time advantage over his new teammate after that, but the pair will be sharing driving duties equally over the course of the first week of testing.
Scheduled between the 18th and 21st of February, all the teams will have four days of track time at the Circuit de Catalunya near Barcelona next week. A second four day test follows at the same venue on the following week.
Red Bull have revealed their planned schedule for the first test with Verstappen driving the first day. Pierre Gasly then gets his first go in the RB15 on Day 2, before the pair alternate through Days 3 & 4.
Red Bull Racing Test 1 Driver Schedule:
Day 1 (Monday): Max Verstappen
Day 2 (Tuesday): Pierre Gasly
Day 3 (Wednesday): Max Verstappen
