Testing – Ferrari have announced their line-up for the two days of testing this week in Spain.
The first in season test of the year takes place this week at the Circuit de Catalunya in Spain. Many of the teams have already announced their line-ups, with Ferrari releasing their plan on action for Tuesday and Wednesday.
Sebastian Vettel, fresh off the back of a P4 points finish at the circuit in the Spanish Grand Prix on Sunday, will drive the SF71-H on Tuesday. Antonio Giovinazzi will return to an F1 cockpit this week too, driving for Ferrari powered Sauber on Tuesday and then the Ferrari on Wednesday. Racing in two Grands Prix in 2017 for Sauber, he is Ferrari’s third/reserve driver this year.
Giovinazzi also carried out wet weather testing for Pirelli at Fiorano last month, driving the SF71-H as part of this year’s sanctioned tyre testing.
