Monaco ePrix – Sebastien Buemi was fastest again in FP2, but with a narrow margin of seven hundredths of a second to Sam Bird.
Lucas di Grassi was third fastest, a quarter of the second off the ultimate pace. The top three were the only drivers to break into the 52-second mark.
Jean-Eric Vergne was fourth fastest with Jose Maria Lopez once again in the top five.
Loic Duval was sixth ahead of Daniel Abt, Nelson Piquet Jr and Nico Prost, who knocked his left-rear wheel against the barrier on the exit of the final corner but escaped without damage.
Stephane Sarrazin completed the top ten, with Esteban Gutierrez running a new chassis in 11th.
Jerome D’Ambrosio was unimpressed by Maro Engel’s driving, as he waved his hands in frustration at the German on the run into the Turn 3 after the Venturi driver passed him at the first corner.
After his crash this morning, Felix Rosenqvist was 16th but had another moment at Ste Devote as he locked up and ran into the escape road.
Little was seen of Oliver Turvey, as one of his cars was damaged in the FP1 crash with Rosenqvist and his other was undergoing a battery change. He finished the session in 17th.
