Günther seals Dragon Formula E drive

Arden International Formula 2 racer Max Günther has been announced as Jose Maria Lopez’s team-mate at Dragon Racing for the 2018/19 Formula E season.

Günther has been Dragon’s test and reserve driver since March, shortly after he took place in the post-Marrakesh rookie test. He has now been promoted to the race seat after the departure of Jerome d’Ambrosio, who switched to Mahindra.

Günther completed the team’s private testing alongside Lopez and got in more laps during the three-day pre-season test in Valencia, where he shared the second car with fellow F2 racer Antonio Fuoco who was on loan from the Ferrari Driver Academy.
